Ethics Advisory Notice: The Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters (“CSR Board”) discussed at its October 15, 2008 meeting the need for enhanced ethics awareness among members of the court reporting profession.

NOTICE

Under Title 46, Part XXI. Certified Shorthand Reporters, Chapter 6. Continuing Education, Section 607. Maintenance of Record, (B.) On or before January 31 of each odd-numbered calendar year, each reporter issued a certificate by the board shall submit or cause to be submitted to the board a written record of continuing education credits earned by the reporter for the preceding calendar years.”

EVENTS

MEETING NOTICE

The Special Office Committee on Transcript Certification will meet this Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the State National Life Building at 263 Third Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the Third Floor Conference Room. 


Meeting dates have been tentatively set as follows:

February 27, 2009, March 20, 2009, April 17, 2009, May 15, 2009, June 19, 2009

Each meeting will be Noticed and an Agenda posted individually two weeks prior to each meeting date.
