It is imperative that you either supply or update your email address in this same area. 

If you know of any certified court reporter that is not receiving this Newsletter then please inform them that they must go to the Reporter Login page of the website and provide their correct email address. This is the only way they can receive the Newsletter.

THE LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE:

The Legislative Committee has completed and submitted the report for HCR 104.  This item will be reported on at the next board meeting.

 The Special Office Committee on Transcript Certification:

            Digital Signatures are still under discussion.

The Continuing Education Committee:
           
            New language is underlined for rule updates.

Chapter 6, Subsection. 603. Continuing Education Credits
(A.) “Beginning January 1, 2010, two of the required 12 continuing education credits shall be instructions pertaining to court reporting ethics awareness.

            Subsection 607.  Maintenance of Record
(B.) On or before December 31 of each odd-numbered calendar year, etc….(see rules for complete paragraph.)
