Title 46: Professional and Occupational Standards Part XXI. Certified Shorthand Reporters has been updated. All court reporters should visit number 12 on the FAQ page and print a copy for their record.

Note: If you find a seminar that complies with the rules that you would like to attend and receive C. E. Credits for then you must submit the Agenda or outline and request prior approval. The Education Committee will review and get back to you.

ETHICS CREDIT NOTICE

The Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters (“CSR Board”) discussed at its February 19, 2010 meeting the implementation of the required continuing education ethics credits.  The CSR Board agreed that anyone who has not obtained two C. E. credits in Louisiana Ethics for the current two-year cycle will not be liable. However, the requirement will be in full force and effect for the 2011-2012 C. E. cycle.
